Albert Birch, textile mechanician
|
For more than 100 years, Birch Brothers has been a leader in the design and production of web handling and processing machinery.
Ours is a rich tradition of innovative manufacturing that dates back to 1883 - the year Albert Birch crossed the ocean from England to America and founded the company we know today as Birch Brothers Southern.
Albert - well known in the industry, was the son of a leading textile machinery designer. He led the company in development, manufacturing and re-engineering of textile machinery - establishing a reputation for unparalleled quality. Albert served as president until 1932 when he passed the reins to his son Clifford, and later, to his grandson Clifford Junior in 1956.
